Good for the Soul: Thriving through Anxiety and Depression

We are raising awareness in honor of National Mental Health Awareness Month. Join us for an inspiring evening focused on thriving despite anxiety and depression. This event will feature presentations, personal stories, and interactive discussions. It is not just a passive listening experience; it’s an opportunity to share your experiences and learn from others. As we navigate the ups and downs of life, we will discover our inner strength, find hope, and experience moments of pure happiness. This event celebrates the possibility of recovery and the potential for a fulfilling life.

Special Guest: Raeann Martin Keeley-Pellerin, local author of “Rising Through the Ashes,” will share her love, loss, and hope journey.

Drawing from personal experiences, therapeutic techniques, and moments of self-discovery, Raeann explores the emotional rollercoaster of coping with loss while managing mental health challenges. She emphasizes embracing vulnerability and uncovering the power of reflection, faith, and community.

Raeann’s courage in sharing her journey is an inspiration to us all.

Through stories of heartbreak and resilience, Raeann reminds us that it is okay not to be OK and that the path to recovery is not about perfection but persistence.

In her book, “Rising Through the Ashes: Facing Anxiety and Depression After Loss,” Raeann provides a personal account of navigating the complexities of grief, anxiety, and depression following the loss of a loved one. This book serves as both a memoir and a guide, offering readers a raw and honest look at how loss reshapes us and how healing is an ongoing journey. It reminds us that recovery is not a destination but a daily path and that there is always hope for a brighter future. Books will be available for purchase and signing.

Speaker: Lisa Williams, APRN-BC, DNP, is a member of the clinical staff at the Center for Life Management. She is passionate about addressing depression and utilizing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for treatment-resistant depression. Lisa will discuss the latest trends, treatments, and tips for recovery. She has been with the Center for Life Management since 2019. She earned her DNP from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in 2023 and her MS in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Rivier University.

Join us and learn techniques to help you not just survive, but thrive!
